Traits: Caring, Protective, Cautious, Perfectionist, Single Minded, Defensive, Good, Emotionally Passive

In Depth: 

    Caring - Boone is incredibly caring, sometimes to a fault. When growing up this was most apparent in his relationship with Hera and to a lesser degree his sister Fae. He believed it was his job to take care of his mother and this will carry over to others as he ages. There was something in the way she used to look at him that he couldn't stand. He will gladly do all he can for those he loves even if it were to result in some kind of injury to himself. It takes time to break through and become close but when you get in he cares deeply and only a horrible betrayl will change this.

    Protective - This trait will develop more as Boone ages. As a youth his "protectiveness" mostly showed itself in him shyly growling at strangers from his mother's side. Eventually he was big enough to stand between her and any threat but she pushed him away. Now he is looking for something new to devote himself to. Every move is calculated when this male acts on someone's behalf. He doesn't jump in blindly, thoughts clouded by emotion. He takes the time to think so that everything works out be it a physical fight or battle of wits.

    Cautious - Due partially to the mystery surrounding his father as well as his protectiveness over his mother Boone has become very cautious around others, particularly strangers. He can often be caught casting sideways glances at anyone he doesn't know well, which is nearly everyone. This tends to make other wolves uncomfortable. It isn't worry for himself but worry for those around him that causes this paranoia. You can never be quite sure of someone's intentions and motives. It takes a bit of time to break through this male's shell but it's well worth the time put in. He will do his best to prove this to you. His caution has actually diminished some now that he is a Loner but if he was to join a pack it would promptly return.

    Perfectionist - Everything must be perfect. Boone refuses to accept anything less than perfection because he knows full well what he is capable of. Even as a pup he pushed himself to this standard. Hunting practice? Perfect. Sparring? Perfect. He will drive himself to exhaustion to reach this imagined level. After all, nothing is worth doing if you aren't going to do it right. The only thing exempt from this is his appearance. He couldn't care less what his fur looks like, but he does keep in shape so he can be useful.

    Single Minded - Rolling with his need for perfection Boone is incredibly single minded. Everything has it's order and tasks must be completed one at a time. Again things have to be done right if you're going to bother doing them. This obsession is relevant to him alone as he sees himself as inherently flawed. He will never look down on someone for not doing things in the "proper order" but is always willing to lead a paw. When he is concentrating on a specific aim it is incredibly difficult to gain his attention. There are very few who are capable of drawing him away and they should consider themselves to be very special.

    Defensive - Boone is incredibly defensive but not in the way you would normally think. He will defend all those close to him but rarely himself. He takes the blame for every little thing upon himself and will always jump in-between a loved one and their accuser. This resulted in him getting into trouble quite often. A hunt he was involved in failed? He obviously wasn't trying as hard as the others. Something traumatic has happened? He should have done something to prevent it. Hera has a thorn in her paw? He should have cleared the paths. Even if there is no possible thing he could have done Boone blames himself.

    Good - Like his name would imply Boone does his best to be "good". He feels he needs to prove himself to almost everyone around him. Though he isn't conscious of this he feeds on the approval of others and does what he can, while keeping with his morals, to gain it. It is his goal to be nothing like the mental image he has created of his father.

    Emotionally Passive - Boone is surprisingly calm, it's the only way to balance his traits. The way he looks at it everything just happens, there is no reason to respond in an overly emotional way. If something goes wrong that just means he needs to try harder. He is very accepting of whatever comes his way and meets problems with little resistance. He devotes all of his energy into coming up with solutions. Boone doesn't get truly angry or sad, he's never had any sort of temper, these things waste time that could be used to improve a situation. He feels these emotions just like most he just expresses and uses them in a different way.

    First Impression: When first meeting him Boone seems like any other young wolf, perhaps a bit shy, but you wouldn't have any hint of the pain surrounding his birth.
